Terms of Service

Version: draft · Last reviewed: — · Owner: Staffgent

The agreement governing use of Staffgent during the founding beta. Draft wording for review.

1. The service

Staffgent provides a managed AI “employee” that researches leads, scores them, drafts replies and updates your private CRM. Access is private to each client organisation. The service prepares work for your review; it does not contact your prospects automatically.

2. Accounts & access

  • You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for the actions of users you invite.
  • Each organisation controls its own members and roles. Access can be suspended or revoked.
  • We may suspend access to protect the service, other clients or where required by law.

3. Human approval

Human approval is required before any prospect contact. The service records an internal decision only; nothing is sent to a prospect without your explicit approval. You are responsible for the content you approve and for complying with applicable marketing, privacy and anti-spam laws.

4. Acceptable use

Use of the service is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. Misuse may result in suspension.

5. Fees & billing

  • Plans are billed monthly or annually via our payment processor, plus a one-off setup and build fee.
  • Each plan includes a monthly Workload Allowance. Additional allowance may be purchased where offered; it is prepaid and never auto-billed.
  • Cancellation and refund terms are set out in the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of your organisation’s data. We process it to provide the service under the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum. You can export your data and request deletion or anonymisation on offboarding, subject to retention of billing and audit records where legally required.

7. Availability & beta status

This is a founding-beta service. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service during the beta. Features may change as the product develops.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as will be specified in the final reviewed terms. The service is a decision-support tool; you remain responsible for business decisions and outbound communications you approve.

9. Termination

Either party may end the agreement per the Cancellation policy. On termination we offboard your organisation: new work stops, access is revoked, and your data is retained for the grace period before deletion/anonymisation.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated to organisation owners. Governing law and jurisdiction to be confirmed on review.
